MOVE TO A NEW BUILDING FOR THE BOYLE STREET COMMUNITY SERVICES ZONING PERMIT OPPOSITION

What was thought to be a new home for the okimaw peyesew kamik – King Thunderbird Centre will not happen as planned due to a zoning conflict. BOYLE STREET COMMUNITY SERVICES (BSCS) says the facility they are now in is in disrepair and they need a new building to serve the growing number of homeless in Edmonton. Now that the permit has been revoked they are looking for another site, possibly out of the area.
