Paul wrote it, and it goes, “To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is ‘Christ in you, the hope of glory.’”Jesus prayed to our Father, “I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected and completed into one, so that the world may know [without any doubt] that You sent Me, and [that You] have loved them, just as You have loved Me. There are many considerations that have to taken into account when considering how to build an thriving community and a main one has to do with the subject of this post.
Are you familiar with the idiom "paint the town"? Grammarist.com says paint the town means to indulge in the available entertainment in town such as nightclubs, bars and restaurants in a raucous and flamboyant manner.I don't know if 86 year old Huang Yung Fu of Taichung City, Taiwan is familiar with the idiom but when he heard his village was slated to be torn down he decided to do something about it. He took out his paints and brushes and started to literally "paint the town", his village. Huang Yung Fu is now 98 years old and his village has become an internationally-recognized tourist attraction.
This is a fantastic example of what one person can do and the difference they can make in their community and beyond.Think of WOWagora as your paints and brushes and use it to "paint the town"!
Coyotes are similar in appearance to wolves but much are smaller in size. Coyotes can be seen in urban areas, whereas wolves will usually stay away from humans. As our city grows our geographical footprint extends further into the territory of various animal species, including coyotes. Coyote sightings are becoming more frequent and they seem to be getting more comfortable and bolder around humans and many cities. To counter this many cities including Edmonton are trying various means of making the coyotes fearful of and uncomfortable around people. Today's EDMONTON JOURNAL has an article on a program currently underway in many Edmonton neighbourhoods.
