TWO CITY COUNCILLORS OFFERUNG MICRO GRANTS
To City Councillors, Keren Tang and Andrew Knack are each setting aside $25,000 of their ward funds towards micro grants or participatory budgeting projects. The individual grants range from $500 - $2000 are small so it will be interesting to see the kind of community projects they provide "seed" funding for. It'll also be interesting to see if other councillors follow Keren Tang's and Andrew Knack's examples.
