Epoch Times Media

Someone sent me a link recently about the safety of mRNA vaccines. When I clicked on the link, it opens the "Epoch TV" website.https://m.theepochtimes.com/the-cdc-got-caught-hiding-data-vaccination-might-increase-risk-of-omicron-infection-dr-robert-malone_4318005.html?utm_source=share-btn-copylinkThe Epoch Media Group owns and operates The Epoch Times Newspaper, Epoch TV and the New Tang Dynasty (NTD) Television. These publications are driven by the FALUN GONG NEW RELIGIOUS MOVEMENT.Nick Couldry and James Curran wrote in 2003 that the [Epoch Times] paper represents a "major step in the evolution of Falun Gong-related alternative media".In 2003, sociologist Yuezhi Zhao wrote that the [Epoch Times] paper "displays an indisputable ideological and organizational affinity with Falun Gong new religious movement".https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Epoch_TimesFalun Gong is a fusion of Buddhist and Taoist beliefs and practices. It was founded in China in the 1990s. In Taoism, the "TAO" is the source of everything and the ultimate principle underlying reality. Taoism teaches about the various disciplines for achieving perfection through self-cultivation. This can be done through the use of Taoist techniques and by becoming one with the unplanned rhythms of the all, called "the way" or "Tao".Falun Gong's teachings hold that practitioners can acquire supernatural skills through a combination of moral cultivation, meditation and exercises. These include, but are not limited to, precognition, clairaudience, telepathy, and divine sight (via the opening of the third eye or celestial eye [aka. the all-seeing eye (free masonry) aka. the eye of horus (from ancient Egyptian mythology; horus was the son of osiris and isis); the eye of horus also appears in both Buddhist and Hindu doctrine. The Buddha himself is often referred to as "the eye of the world"].https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falun_GongEpoch Media has widely covered religious persecution in China. This is a partial truth. The religious groups in China which are supported by Epoch Media aren't Christians and they weren't persecuted for religious reasons. They were persecuted for publicly opposing China's communist regime. The religion is banned in mainland China - not because of its religious practices - but because it opposes the communist regime. These publications are not Christian and not credible or trustworthy.
