BUSTED BUS SHELTERS COST CITY $456,000 TO REPAIR
Edmonton has approximately2,500 bus stops shelters in which about 1600 were damaged at a replacement cost of $456,000. The city is teaming up with the UofA to design new shelters that will provide needed shelter and serve to deter vandalism. IFrom what ETS Branch Manager Carrie Hotton-MacDonald said it seems the city looking at and considering other design options including what Edmontonians might come up with.
