EVEN THOUGH 1/3 OF DOWNTOWN STOREFRONTS REMAIN EMPTY NEW BUSINESSES PLAN TO OPEN DOWNTOWN
A new study by the University of Alberta’s School of Business found 33 per cent of downtown Edmonton’s storefronts are sitting vacant. The Downtown Business Association reports that 6 new businesses are planning to open with the help of startup grant money from the city and province.
