EDMONTONIONS WERE SMOKED

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, Edmonton had 70 hours or 3 days more of smoke hours from May 1st to September 3rd. On many days smoke was at such dangerously high levels that air quality warnings were issued and a number of Edmonton-area events were cancelled. Where there's smoke there's fire and it was forest fires that brought more smoke than any previous year into Edmonton.
