OLD SCONA HIGH STUDENT WINS EUROPEAN SCIENCE FAIR

Congratulations are due Elizabeth Chen a Grade 12 student at Old Scona High who took the top prize at the prestigious European Union Contest for Young Scientists (EUCYS) in Brussels, Belgium. Elizabeth Chen had previously won the Canada-wide Science Fair held in Edmonton in May. The project that Elizabeth Chen presented for both competitions had to do with helping doctors predict how a patient will react to cancer treatment.
