ENGINEERING FIRM RECOMMENDS FIRE DAMAGED CONDO BE EVACUATED

Months after a fire ravaged the Castledowns Pointe condo building (12618 152 Ave.) structural engineers from Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd (RJC) were contracted to inspect the building. After the initial and subsequent inspection reported that there was discrepancy between the engineered drawings and what inspection of the actual construction revealed.

Simco, the management company shared RJC's finding with the City of Edmonton and informed residents of Castledowns Pointe that they should evacuate, immediately.
