GOODBYE TO SINGLE USE ITEMS
Come July 1 and thereafter we will be reminded of the bylaw passsed in October 2022. Next time you visit an establishment that has anything that can be taken out you will encounter the application of the bylaw. Bags will be paper or reusable, not plastic, you may have to ask for utensils, straws, napkins and condiments rather than them being given. One other thing we will undoubtedly encounter is a price increase because the changes this bylaw calls for are costly and that cost will be passed on to consumers.
