WHERE DOES THE GARDEN GROW?
An old nursery rhyme asked "Mary, how does your garden grow?" The rooftop garden at Kingsway Mall suggests the "how question" should be augmented by the "where question?". Its estimated that the Kingsway Mall rooftop garden will produce about 300 pounds of fresh vegetables and herbs for the Edmonton Food Bank.Kingsway Mall may set a precedent for other malls and buildings to follow.
