SLIDE DOWN THE BIG YELLOW SLIDE ---NO MORE
The BIG yellow slide at Northlands was erected began giving thrills to Klondike goers in 1974. The many bums which sled down the slide took their toll and the slide was closed to public use in 2019 and is now being demolished. Gone will be the BIG yellow landmark familiar to passersby for decades and we wait to see what will replace it.
