SUPERTRAIN SHOWCASING COMMISSIONED ART

Some of Edmonton's LRT trains will be getting a SuperTrain face lift from three commissioned artworks.  The Society of Northern Alberta Print-artists (SNAP) in partnership with the Edmonton Arts Council and Pattison Outdoor Advertising collaborated on the SuperTrain public art initiative.

 Local Indigenous artist Ambrose Cardinal has painted the first SuperTrain rolling canvas. Michelle Campos Castillo and Roger Garcia will be working on the 2nd SuperTrain which is scheduled to roll out in August, then Helen Gerritzen and Kyla Fischer's work will be on display in the 3rd SuperTrain in November.
