There is something about a car and speed that people, love. Motor sports enthusiasts will travel far and wide to watch a Formula 1, Nascar, drag, stock car, cross country, etc.races and if they can't attend in person they will watch televised races on TV. Then there are those whose love for speed and the thrill of racing is scaled down and they race radio controlled cars.
The members of Radio Control Racers Edmonton have been racing radio controlled cars for 25 years but up until 3 weeks ago their races were a fine weather sport only. All that has changed and Radio Control Racers Edmonton will able to race year round at their race course in Bonnie Doon Mall where spectators can watch, even have a go and get up to speed on radio controlled racing. The cars are fast, not so noisy and it keeps the racers off the street.
