OPENING PATIO FOR BLUES ON WHYTE WOULD HAVE THEM SINGING A DIFFERNT TUNE
The City currently a limit of 2600 square feet inside and outside combined and fewer than 200 patrons for new spaces opening on Whyte Avenue. Blues on Whyte has applied for a zoning change so they can open their large (with permits) patio for the summer which would create a combined inside and outside of 3,410 square feet. Blues on Whyte has long been a favorite live music spot and increasing the patio would allow more people to enjoy the vibes but would also set a precedent for other bars .
Should Blues on Whyte be permitted to open a larger outdoor patio than current zoning allows?
