CITY REVEALS REDESIGN PLANS FOR WHYTE AVENUE
On Monday the City of Edmonton unveiled 3 redesign concepts for Whyte Avenue from 99th street to 109 street. The City says the concepts were based on what heard from people who wanted open space, more parks and greater connectivity across the neighbourhood. No mention was made if any of the people who wanted Whyte changed included the many business owners whose businesses will be disrupted for who knows how long.
The city has an online survey until March 5 and is hosting a drop-in event in the area on March 2.
