SHERIFFS COME TO THE RESCUE
Safety concerns in the downtown core have reached such a state that people and businesses are leaving. To counter that a new provincial public safety initiative announced that the Edmonton Police Service and Alberta Sheriffs will work together on a 15-week pilot program to provide more officers and resources for policing downtown.
