YOUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK FOR YOU, ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE A CYCLIST
I apologize for the photograph but I trust you can read both of the Priority 1 captions. What caught my attention was Priority 1 on the right for I believe it tells a tale. Although I'm not a mathematician by any stretch of the imagination I can readily tell that cyclists are far and away receiving PRIORITY 1 treatment.
On any given day compare the number of people who commute by vehicle, especially in extreme winter weather, to the number who commute by bike. It would be pretty safe to say there is no comparison, yet the cyclists get Priority 1 (completed within 24 hours) treatment while those who commute by vehicle get Priority 1 (completed within 4 days/96 hours).
Now compare the per person amount of tax dollars those who commute by vehicle pay in comparison to the per person amount of tax dollars those who commute by bike pay. Again I believe it would be pretty safe to say there is no comparison, yet the cyclists Priority 1 (completed within 24 hours ) treatment is a fraction of the time for those who commute by vehicle get Priority 1(completed within 4 days/96 hours).
Something does not seem right with this picture!
