If you like fireworks there will be a number of fireworks displays on Canada Day and all you have to do is decide which one to watch and get a seat early to watch. The biggest display will be in the river valley in the vicinity of the High Level Bridge.
The Millwoods fireworks display will also include multicultural performances, music and dance.
In additions to their fireworks display the Ice District will also include live music,games, inflatables, photo booths, face painting, performers, food trucks, non-alcoholic refreshments and adult beverages.
People like to go where the action is and for many Edmontonians the action in the downtown core is in and around the ice district. Henry Singer which as been a long time mainstay in mens' retail is slated to move into a 10,000-square-foot space in Stantec Tower in 2023 to become part of the "ice district" happening.
