While soccer star and adopted son is on a break FC Bayern Munich he's come back to Edmonton and has hosted a soccer camp for 44 kids. This was the first of many soccer camps Davies is projected to host to inspire generations of soccer players in Canada.
Even before he scored Canada's first ever goal in World Cup soccer competition Alphonso Davies was an inspiration to many young soccer players. BTB (Born to Be) Soccer Academy which is represented by Davies is inspiring young players to reach their goals both on and off the field. This year 14 players received university scholarships and others signed professional contracts. It would be great if Davies and some player/s who came through the BTB Soccer Academy could all play for Canada in the 2026 World Cup.
