Politicians took the day off people who were for and against the proposed Alberta Sovereignty Within a United Canada Act met at the legislature Sunday to share their differing viewpoints. It is an important and divisive act that has ramifications beyond Alberta.

True to her word Premier Danielle Smith tabled the Alberta Sovereignty Within a United Canada Act as her first bill. It will take some time to fully understand all the ramifications of this Bill but I think its ultimate intention is to limit the scope and power of the Federal government in and over Alberta.
