Hello Ward Karhiio,It has been a busy Summer! I hope you are taking some time to rest and recharge. Besides some time spent visiting families, I have been focusing on learning more about our public services through hands-on learning experiences these last few months, with various ride-alongs. My team and I are also focused on bringing the many excellent Community-Based Budgeting proposals into Ward Karhiio (exciting announcement coming soon), and taking stock of our priorities and key issues in the community as we gear up for a busy Fall Council schedule and budget. In the meantime, I hope to see you out in the community at the various festivals and events this month (check them out here)!Stay safe and healthy, Keren

A total of 18 project submissions for the 2nd year of Community-Based Budgeting project were received. The public is invited to listen to the pitches, provide feedback and eventually have the say in what  projects receive funding.

Although I don't agree with everything councillor Keren Tang stands for I do appreciate her communications through monthly newsletters, community workshops and coffee chats and her responses to emails.

Hello Ward Karhiio,

Spring is here in Edmonton, a season of renewal and new beginnings. Amidst the difficult news from the last few weeks, I have seen our City come together to help each other grieve, and now to heal. I have been connecting with communities, and know that I hear your concerns and appreciate your thoughts, ideas and willingness to continue to build up our City. I look forward to meeting more of you in-person as the snow melts and our Karhiio team comes to your doors and communities.Stay safe and healthy,Keren In this edition:

  • Upcoming Community Connections with Keren
  • Remembering Constables Travis Jordan and Brett Ryan

I don't know what the other councillors do in keeping citizens informed as to the happenings in their ward but Keren Tang scores quite high regarding that. The link below takes you to her newest newsletter
