It was just a matter of time before someone came up with a pizza vending machine and PizzaForna, an American company has done just that. The vending machine that just opened at MacEwan University is the 45th such machine in Canada. Makes one wonder what's next?
Gene Zwozdesky served as an MLA in the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for 22 years. Prior to his time as an MLA Zwozdesky was a member of the Ukrainian Shumka Dancers and involved in a myriad of other cultural organizations, including the Alberta Cultural Heritage Foundation and Ukrainian Resource and Development Centre (URDC).

The EDMONTON MUSIC & SPEECH FESTIVAL showcasing hundreds of different musical and spoken art performances ranging from musical theatre, orchestra, guitar, piano, Shakespearean works, and singing is in its 114th iteration and continues until May 1st.
All events and performances will be held at MacEwan University’s Alberta College Campus (10050 MacDonald Drive). Sessions generally start at 9:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 6:00 PM. All events are free to attend as an audience member and will be in-person, except for orchestra, choir, and band performances. A complete listing of all events and performances is on their website.
