PulseMedica

PulseMedica, a UofA spinoff has been working on a new way to treat patients with major eye diseases. They have now received a $2.6-million seed round of funding for its first clinical trial on 10 to 15 patients in Edmonton who have diabetic retinopathy. The additional funding will enable PulseMedica to complete their special equipment, add to their team and take a major step to the world stage.
