It seemed wherever you went in Edmonton during the summer you'd encounter some kind of construction project. All thoseprojects made for a successful construction season but with winter weather at our doorstep construction will be experiencing a slow down and a shut down for some projects but with the coming of spring it will begin all over again.
Running a business is challenging at the best of times but the last couple of years have not been the best of times. Covid mandates and restrictions affected all Edmontonians and brought new and unforeseen challenges to businesses and unfortunately many did not survive. Now some Edmonton businesses are facing closure because of construction and the city is considering ways to compensate their losses due to construction.
