Two Edmonton brothers held a prescription eyeglasses donation drive and collected over 430 eyeglasses, which were shipped to opticians in Ukraine.

The continuing war in Ukraine has caused millions to flee their homes in Ukraine, in most cases for places unknown in Europe. There is the odd exception and one of those, a LOT Polish Airline will be arriving in Edmonton on Monday. The plane was coming to Edmonton to pick up medical and emergency supplies for Ukraine via Poland and rather than flying here empty arrangements were made to bring a plane full of Ukrainians who already have family or friends willing to host them.
