A mother and her 11 year old child were fatally stabbed near Crawford Plains School late yesterday afternoon. The police located the suspect, an altercation took place, the suspect was shot and then taken to hospital.

This is the latest incident where someone has been killed and it seems to indicate that violence in our neighbourhoods is becoming too prevalent.
