Caring for the hundreds, thousands of patients that are admitted to Edmonton's hospitals is not an easy task. There are times when the need for rooms necessitates that some patients who need a lower level of care may be moved to a hallway. This is what happened to Carmen Renderos and as a result she was moved to a hallway where she missed some of her meals and couldn’t sleep because of the constant noise in the hallway. 

Although it is hard on the patients and their loved ones these measures are sometimes necessary to ensure that all patients receive the care they need.
