If you like fireworks there will be a number of fireworks displays on Canada Day and all you have to do is decide which one to watch and get a seat early to watch. The biggest display will be in the river valley in the vicinity of the High Level Bridge.

The Millwoods fireworks display will also include multicultural performances, music and dance.

In additions to their fireworks display the Ice District will also include live music,games, inflatables, photo booths, face painting, performers, food trucks, non-alcoholic refreshments and adult beverages.

Last week a man who has recently emigrated to Edmonton from Ukraine was victim of an early morning stabbing while waiting for the bus that would take him to work. Today an 18 year was stabbed during a fight at the Mill Woods Recreation Centre.
