PACKAGING ISSUES
A number of calls came to our landline this morning and I answered them, said hello and it became apparent the party who was calling could not hear me. I then tried to call out using the same phone and although it rang and the party I was calling picked up, they could not hear me. I checked everything (3 phones) to make sure nothing was disconnected but all was intact so off I went to purchase new phones.
I bought them, brought them home, disconnected the old phones and connected the new and nothing changed. Incoing and out going calls could not hear me. Since both old and new phones didn't work I called our Rogers/Shaw who provides the landline service and in a matter of minutes the support technician had things working again which brings me to the subject of this email.
When I brought the new phone home I removed it carefully, piece by piece but I made one mistake.....I never took a video of the unpacking procedure. Everything was wrapped in plastic bags, positioned and packed so perfectly, that now that I want to return the phones there's no way I remember how they were packed so that I can repack them all into the box. It remains to be seen if I get a hassle trying to return the phones. Shall keep you infomed
I've long thought of that there's an excessive waste of plastic and cardboard in packaging so I'm starting this page with this post. Feel free to add your packaging beefs & bouquets and hopefully we can bring about some much need changes.
