There are funerals everyday of those who are most only known by relatives and friends. Then there funerals like the one today to honor and remember the the lives of constables Travis Jordan and Brett Ryan, the two Edmonton Police constables who were recently slain. In addition to their fellow Edmonton police there has been an outpouring of support and thanksgiving from Edmontonians for the two constables and their families. The sad irony is the two paid the ultimate sacrifice in their attempt to keep Edmonton safe for the public.
