Its great to celebrate the success of one of ours including one of o neighbours and such is the case of Kate Hallet, a young actress from Sherwood Park who, after her first professional acting role in the film Women Talking has been nominated for Academy Awards in best picture and best adapted screenplay. Some of the most recognized actresses in history have never been acknowledged and nominated for such an award so this nomination is something very special.
I haven't seen Women Talking, but will as soon as I can.
