Years ago it was advised that to keep the peace at family gatherings politics and religion were two topics to avoid. The article below addresses what is a hot topic.
SPEAKING TRUTH OVER CHRISTMAS
By Archaeopteryx Phoenix
Now that Christmas is upon us, and family gatherings are near, I need to understand when it is appropriate to speak out and risk alienating family. This is not a small matter. One might say – “Of course you must always speak Truth”, but the criteria becomes murky when you consider the situation. I would appreciate your thoughts.
- What if you simply overhear a conversation and you are not part of it – should you speak Truth?
- What if someone mentions Covid – should you bring up the vaxx?
- What if someone mentions how they are happy they are boosted – should you mention the dangers?
- What if someone mentions Diversity – should you clarify the true purpose of it?
- What if someone mentions the Ukraine conflict – should you explain your understanding of it?
All around us are false narratives that pose a threat to humanity, to our family, and to civilization as a whole. The system wants us to be afraid to speak Logos and oppose them. When among family, speaking out could risk alienation and upset the holiday warmth. My question is – what are your criteria for speaking Truth at this most critical time in human history over the Christmas holiday?
