Its not uncommon for new CEOs (Twitter's Elon Musk), political parties (UCP), GMs ( Oilers, Elks) to  replace some of the old guard with new faces. Such is the case of Premier Danielle Smith's decision to replace Alberta's chief medical officer, Dr. Denna Hinshaw with DR. Mark Joffe who served as vice-president and medical director of Cancer Care Alberta before this appointment.
