An Edmonton woman says her experience at the Misercordia hospital Sunday was disgusting. She was triaged after about 20 minutes and then was taken to what she described as a concrete garage with dried blood on the floor and uncomfortable chairs. Because of her severe back pain she could not sit so she joined two other patients curled up on the floor where she stayed for seven hours until she was able to see a doctor.

What was a troubled medical system before Covid has become even worse and this report is one of many describing the dilemma patients, hospitals and staff are facing.
