There have been three delays in the opening of the SouthEast Valley line LRT and the city just announced a fourth delay. City inspectors cracks have discovered that cracks have developed in 18 of the concrete piers holding up the elevated portions of the track. TransEd and engineering teams don’t expect this to require replacement and are exploring options to strengthen the piers.
