KOKUMS HELPER SOCIETY EXISTS TO CREATE AN INDIGENOUS END-OF-LIFE CARE CENTRE

Jackie DeCoteau-Gill hopes her vision of creating an Indigenous end-of-life care centre will win the $25,000 prize at October's Pow Wow Pitch competition. She has hired a grant writer to apply for funding to help the project get off the ground. The care centre is an ambitious, visionary project that would offer the Indigenous community a one of a kind facility.
