EDMONTON JOURNAL TO CEASE PUBLISHING A PAPER EDITION ON MONDAYS
You've probably noticed that as digital media usage and influence has grown newspapers have less advertising and because they have less advertising they shrunk in size or quit publishing altogether. Since those that survived couldn't get much smaller they began to cut back on the days they were published. First to go was the Sunday edition and now, effective Monday, October 17th, the Edmonton Journal will no longer be producing a Monday print edition.
