CITY COUNCIL WANTS END POVERTY EDMONTON TO PROVE ITS WORTH
Like any investor the City wants to know what the ROI (return on investment) is for the $2.1 million they invested in End Poverty Edmonton last fall. To be more accurate the $2.1 million was committed but $600,000 was held back because a city evaluation found EPE showed little proof of impact on poverty and a general lack of clarity. City council will meet to determine whether or not the $600,000 held back from EPE should be released.
Is the $600,000 holdback to EPE warranted?
