CITY COUNCIL RECONSIDERS THE DAILY GRIND .....AND ITS NOT COFFEE

For a number of years the city has operated two plants that recycle concrete and asphalt from household and private renovations, construction, and demolition projects. In 2018, city council decided to close the plants, sell the equipment and allow private industry to provide the same services. All that changed Monday when Ward Anirniq Coun.Erin Rutherford Should the City continue to operate the plants or turn it over to private enterprise? presented a motion to delay the plan, which Council approved 7-5.
