FATE OF HANGAR 14 UP "INTHE AIR"

Hangar 14 which houses the Aviation Museum is in need of major and costly repairs which poses the question "what now"? Built in 1942 Hangar 14 is the only remaining double-wide, double-long hangar in Canada and played an important role in World War 2. Hangar 14 is a provincial historical building so can't be demolished and the planes and artifacts it houses are priceless treasures which makes for a costly problem with no easy solution.
