WHAT TO DO WITH WINTER STREET SAND?

In 2003 Edmonton was a trendsetter and leader of recycling winter street sand but the project was audited in 2016 and was eventually cancelled because of poor management and lack of cost savings.

Although Edmonton no longer recycles its winter street sand other cities followed what Edmonton started and are continuing their projects successfully.
