WE'RE ALL EQUAL BUT ARE SOME MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS?

The UCP government just conformed that Calgary will receive $330 million in provincial funding relevant to their new arena. The money will be used to improve infrastructure for and around the new facility and also includes money for the demolition of the Saddledome.

Edmonton's never received any provincial funding for construction of the new arena or demolition of the old coliseum which Edmonton taxpayers have paid $1.5 million a year to maintain the empty coliseum even though the city has asked the province for financial support to knock it down.
