TO BE FOREWARNED IS TO BE FOREARMED
This is post is not about a Millwoods/Meadows, not even an Edmonton occurrence but it is important nonetheless. A Calgary pastor was arrested for protesting drag queens so called "entertaining" people of all ages, including children in a library in an obvious sexual nature. These types of occurences with drag queens in libraries are becoming all too common occurences in the USA and from what happened in Calgary are also happening in our neighbouringcity to the South. Although I might agree with why Derek Reimer to the stand he did I don't necessarily agree with his actions. Having said that I belive what happened in Calgary may well be a forewarning of what may also become an issue here.
Should so called "drag queen shows" be permitted in City owned and operated libraries?
