BRIDGE OVER DIVIDING WATER
Physical bridges connect areas that have been divided by a natural barrier such as a river. For years our beautiful river created a barrier between an area of Edmonton and one in Strathcona County but all of that is changing as of yesterday. Agreement was reached among the City of Edmonton, Strathcona County and River Valley Alliance to construct a pedestrian bridge connecting the areas of Edmonton and Strathcona County that have been divided.
Building a physical bridge is beautiful, rich example of what can and should be a focus to heal the divisions that exist in our community. WOWagora is created to be bridge builder in the community.
