CITY CUTS BUDGET FOR SNOW CLEARING NEXT WINTER
Considering that tomorrow is the first day of summer "don't rain on my parade" might be appropriate with all the rain we've had lately. However with the news of a $11 million budget cut for snow clearing next winter " "don't snow on our streets" might be more appropriate.
Major arteries, residential streets,bus stops, school zones, city sidewalks will receive slower service while city facilities, LRT stations, paved trails and priority bike lanes are expected to be cleared within a day.
