ALBERTA CRAFT COUNCIL BUILDING IS GETTING AN ARTISTIC EXTERIOR FACELIFT

Visual artist Emily Chu  is leading a team of five MacEwan University art students in priming and painting three of the building's exterior walls this month. The Alberta Crafts Council has been located downtown for 40 years and at its current 102nd Avenue and 106th Street location the past 22 years. If you haven't visited the gallery make it part of your summer plan, see the display from Alberta craft artists and the progress of the mural project. The mural launch and street party is planned as part of The Works Art and Design Festival on July 8 from noon to 4 p.m.
