SEARCH OF NORTH SASKATCHWAN RIVER CONTINUES FOR MISSING TEEN

The North Saskatchewan river and the valley it created adds a picturesque element to Edmonton's landscape. It looks placid and peaceful but it can be very dangerous.14 year old Bosit Naqibulah and a group of friends were swimming on the south bank of the river near Terwillegar Park Sunday afternoon when Bosit Naqibulah was swept away by the current. The search began on Sunday but was stopped because of darkness, continued Monday and again today. Search crews are involved in the search and the public is asked to keep an eye on the river for any sign of the teen.
