HE LEFT A WAR ZONE IN UKRAINE ONLY TO BE STABBED IN EDMONTON

This such a sad story on many accounts. Ivan Pylypchuk, his wife and young daughter arrived in Edmonton from Ukraine less than two weeks ago. Pylypchuk has a work Visa and was on his way to  a construction job he started April 3rd. While He was waiting for an early morning bus to take him to work he was stabbed in the back by an unknown stranger/suspect who then ran away. Pylypchuk called 911 himself and was helped by strangers until emergency responders arrived who then took him to the hospital with serious injuries.

Its ironic to think that Ivan Pylypchuk left the war zone in Ukraine to emigrate to Edmonton which he hoped would be a safe and peaceful place for his family. Instead he became the victim of violence in Millwoods. Ivan Pylypchuk is the sole provider for his family and a GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family during this time.
