Brooklyn Waterfront Gallery (BWAC) is reopening on Saturday, August 15

Now that the Brooklyn Waterfront Gallery (BWAC) is reopening on Saturday, August 15, shelter-weary families looking for places to go and things to do can spend a weekend day at the Red Hook waterfront. Red Hook’s fine selection of restaurants are open for takeout, and options abound for everything from pizza and sandwiches to barbecue and lobster. Enjoy your lunch outdoors on the waterfront overlooking the Statue of Liberty, where there is ample space and sunshine for everyone. Then visit the BWAC Gallery at 481 Van Brunt, open weekends from 1 pm to 6 pm, where two art exhibits await you on two floors. The current exhibitions will be showing from Saturday, August 15 to Saturday, September 12, 2020. Or, leisurely view the art first and take home dinner afterwards.
